.75

Just a few facts and figures for one of our favorite little ladies at 3/4 of a year!

Stats:

Weight: 15 lbs, 2 ounces (0-5th percentile)
Height: 27.5 inches (25th percentile)
Head: 17 inches (25th percentile)

Is currently: Waving, clapping, crawling, ridiculously hard to keep away from the dog food, starting to pull up to standing, eating everything in sight, loving each and every item that has passed her lips, "talking" up a storm, and getting more of a personality each day.

Lover of: strawberries, sneaking small bites of ice cream, balls, being tickled, jumping, peek-a-boo, chasing her big sister, splashing in the bathtub, putting things in her mouth and waking up with Daddy.

Not so fond of: falling asleep alone, being hungry, not being able to keep up with her sister, and being pulled out of Barley's water dish!

Thanks Gamma.........

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream

Fall Excursion

In the dead of winter, when leaving the County isn't so much an option, Jeff and I are always kicking ourselves for not getting out while we had the chance....hence the acceptance of an invitation from the Lyman Family to head to Walla Walla for a quick weekend rendezvous. A little bit of Pumpkin Patching here, a bit of corn mazing there, and a whole lot of insanity and chaos, reaffirmed my belief that being a home body isn't always a bad thing!

Good Morning Beautiful

Anyone who has had the opportunity to live with me, knows that morning is my time to shine! I am the first to admit that my energy and enthusiasm before 7:00 am can be a bit extreme, perhaps even bordering upon annoying. I will, however, defend my demeanor as the more pleasant of two options. Put kindly, my wonderful husband, struggles to meet the morning. While he has improved immensely since our marriage, one is still taking a bit of a risk entering the bedroom before he deems it "time to rise and shine." I have learned that young children or Barley seem to receive the warmest welcome and commonly use them to complete my dirty work.

At our house, we have quickly learned that the apples don't seem to fall far from the trees. Waking up with Lilly has to be one of life's most wonderful simply pleasures. As her sleepy eyes open and begin taking in her surroundings she immediately smiles and then begins laughing at the first person she sees. She them proceeds to happily coo the morning away, sitting lovingly through the first cup of coffee, just glad to around for a new day...........then, there is Camdyn. I am beginning to believe morning moodiness increases with each generation. The disgruntled cries usually begin prior to six am and continue until you are met in her bedroom with a scowl. Thus begins the 15-30 minutes of "waking up" required to get Camdyn ready to even think about beginning the day.....from not putting enough milk in her mini wheats to turning on the wrong cartoon, it is hard not to walk on egg shells around our little time bomb.............

A Dad and His Girl

I think it is often hard for Dad's to bond with infants. Of course they are excited when they arrive, spend hours napping with them on their chests, and love them simply because they are a little piece of them. However, in the daily grind of feeding, changing, napping and crying, it can definitely be hard to form the attachments that come from playing with older siblings!

While I have obviously enjoyed Lilly become much more interactive these last few months, it has absolutely melted my heart to see her bonding with her Daddy. I have a feeling it won't be long before these two will be pretty hard to part!

A Crabbin' We Will Go.........

Ever since us girls made a trip to the beach last spring, Dad has been wishing he could see Camdyn in action at the coast. So when the opportunity to head West for the weekend presented itself, we called some of our bestest friends and cruised on down to their amazing beach house to soak up the sun, surf, sand and seafood. It was absolutely amazing to get away as a family for a few days and we couldn't have asked for better weather or company. Thank you Johnsons for a fabulous weekend!

Bowling is Me Favorite

When we found out we were pregnant with Camdyn, Jeff and I dreamed of parenting the next Mia Hamm. If soccer wasn't her thing, maybe basketball or track. I can honestly tell you, a bowling superstar NEVER crossed our mind. However, after a recent trip to the local lanes, Camdyn proclaimed bowling as her favorite sport ever! In fact, "me love it so, so, so, so, so much Mommy!" You better believe we are hoping this is just another weird toddler phase.

Through the Years............

Just before the birth of his new baby sister, we helped Jonah celebrate his THIRD birthday! If these two ever got married, I know a couple of moms who could put together one heck of a pre-wedding slide show!

We're BACK!!!!!!!

Even before I turned the August calendar over to September, I knew it was going to be a busy nightmare! The start of school, 2 work trips and several doctor trips for Lilly were pushing the planner to capacity. Add an 18 day fire trip to Southern Oregon for dad and you are just scraping the tip of the "excuse for not blogging" ice burg. However, we are happy to report the return of the Weers to cyberspace...let the blogging party begin!
