"Me Lection"

Mom couldn't be more excited about the budding scientist she has on her hands! While at Grandma and Grandpa's farm, Camdyn spent a great deal of time working on her very own nature collection. From leaves to sticks, she diligently scoured the yard for objects to add, and ways to rearrange her prized possessions! She was very proud of herself inviting anyone who was willing to view her "lection" of treasures. Thankfully, the idea of charging admission never even crossed her mind!

Spring has Sprung......

At least in Portland.......the mercury rose to the mid-60's during our weekend visit, and was a welcome relief from the sunny, yet frigid, weather in Wallowa County! We took advantage of the all things spring, including the daffodils, and did a mini photo shoot with our little monkey! Tried to get Lilly in on the action, but daffodils and infants in car seats, just don't make quite as cute of a picture!

Gamma, Pop Pop and Flat Stanley to the Rescue

With a new baby, a busy toddler with Swimmer's ear, a hernia surgery for Dad, and a Mom with a postpartum infection, the Weer family was in need of some serious support! Good thing Gamma and Pop Pop showed up just in time!!!! From cleaning the microwave, to painting our new trim work, no job was left unattended! They even brought Flat Stanley along on their adventures to help our cousin Allison with a school project (not to mention entertain Camdyn)....grandparents are definitely the best!

Hush Little Baby...................

Despite the lack of Lilly-Centered posts, we really do have a new baby around the house! A little addition whose daily adventures can be summarized in one simple (and not so exciting) picture.

Obsessed

Like many toddlers, our little Camdyn not only demonstrates a fair number of obsessive-compulsive tendencies, but can become absolutely obsessed with something new in a mere instant! Since the first snowfall, and the creation of our minuature snowman, Camdyn has been snow-person crazed and attempts to stack balls, blue berries, kix cereal and any other roundish items availale in an attempt to build her own "no man!"

So, while Mom and Dad are chomping at the bit with spring fever, Camdyn celebrates each snow fall.....and the vision of "no men" to come!

Hotel, Motel.......Swimming Pool?!?!

One of the funniest things about living in a SUPER small town, is discovering the large array of services each business must offer in order to make ends meet during the long, cold winter months! For example, our favorite video store does not merely rent movies.....it serves as an ice cream parlor, pizza shop, espresso stand and Direct TV dealer!

Not wanting to miss out on the action, our local Best Western kindly opens their doors...and their swimming pool, to the community for winter swimming lessons! That's right, each Monday Camdini dons her "doot doot (yes, swim suit)" and the Weer Family makes the trek to the neighborhood hotel to partake in Parent/Tot swim lessons! As expected, Miss Camdyn LOVES the water and has become quite the expert at blowing bubbles, kicking her feet and paddling along with either a noodle or kick board. Watch out Dara Torres......here we come!
