An Unexpected Suprise

While Mom had an idea that the Audubon Society might be a good excuse to give Grandma a quick break, we had no idea that we would stumble upon such a great afternoon!  In celebration of Veteran's Day, not only were the education birds out for an up-close-and-personal visit, but hand puppets and an amazing scavenger hunt rounded out our afternoon!  I have a feeling after this adventure, the Weers may just become regulars visitors whenever we are in town.

Wilson Banner Ranch

Leaving the wind and rain of the County behind, the Weer family headed to sunny Clarkston, Washington to play in the the hay and pick out some pumpkins at the Wilson Banner Ranch.  In addition to the 70 degree sunshine, hay mazes, obstacle courses, petting zoos and caramel apples made the day pretty darn perfect, and definitely put this stop on our 2015 Fall To Do List.

Beach Bums

Holding to tradition, we traveled across Oregon to meet the Johnson Family for our annual October Beach Weekend.  While we missed the sun of the past several weeks, the weather held for plenty of adventures including Giant Jelly Fish, a tour of the Fort Stevens Battery, a couple of new breweries, and  our first carousel ride!

Going, Going, GONE!!!!!!

After nearly 4 long-months all members of the Weer Family were more than excited to get rid of Daddy's giant beard!!!  Although it was for a wonderful cause, nothing seemed quite as important as getting out the razor, sitting on the kitchen floor and shaving that crazy facial hair away!  We are all so excited to have our younger, thinner, much better groomed Daddy back!

On a rare day off for Dad, it is pretty easy to know just how he and Lilly will be spending their time!

The Race is On......

Even Cousin Dawson joined the racing summer this fun.  The three cousins medaled away at not one, but two different races!

Construction Site

Not only are Gamma and Pop Pop coming to visit, they even sent a package to keep us busy until they arrive!  The girls decided to put their construction skills to the test with some mini-tools and kid-sized birdhouse kits.  Needless to say, this not so handy Mom was pretty impressed with the teamwork and talent of her two little builders!
