Hopping into Spring

Despite the snow, ice and freezing temperatures hitting Wallowa County this weekend, we did manage to have a very spring like Easter!  Keeping up with tradition, chocolate nests were created, eggs were dyed and multiple hunting opportunities presented themselves.  Most important, we celebrated the real reason for the season, faith, family and love!  Happy Easter!

All Set for Summer.....

All it takes is a few sunny days for Lilly to be ready to hit the pool......but for now, a blue blanket in the living room will have to do!

Guess Who Loves Ballet?!?!

Indian Echo Caverns

In an effort to beat the crummy weather, and appease this nerdy science mom, we spent the last day of our Pennsylvania Spring Break exploring the Indian Echo Caverns.  Camdyn and Lilly gave the experience an enthusiastic "two thumbs up" as they ducked, crawled and splashed their way through the amazingly gorgeous caves.  We left Indian Echo with not only a great adventure to share with our friends back in Oregon, but a brochure of other cool PA caverns for our next trip to the east coast.

A Sweet Surprise

While visiting Gamma and Pop Pop in Pennsylvania, we surprised Camdyn and Lilly with a trip to Hershey Chocolate World....and if just visiting the factory wasn't enough, the girls had an amazing opportunity to create their very own candy bar.  Donning official hair nets and aprons, we hit the factory floor, selecting chocolate type and mix-ins along the way.  Topping both of their bars with sprinkles, the final stop at the design studio had them creating a wrapper as unique as their candy creation.  Needless to say, this sweet surprise was definitely a highlight of the family Spring Break.

Happy Birthday Dear Camdyn

While I may not have the photos to prove it, friends and family chipped in to make this one special 6th birthday.  From sporting the sombrero, to pajama themed pancake parties, Camdyn planned and partied her heart out!  We are so proud of our happy, horse-crazed kiddo and can't believe she is growing so fast.

One Fish, Two Fish

The amazing teachers at Camdyn's school pulled together a great center night to celebrate our favorite author.  Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!
