While it was a far cry from Sea World, Camdyn and Lilly both loved our adventure to the Portland Aquarium during a recent work trip for Mom. From Jelly Fish to Rays, the girls were able to get up close and personal with some of the animals we had only seen in pictures, and further foster a love for any and all members of the animal kingdom.

Out Little Speed Racer
As silly as it may sound, Jeff and I both shed a few tears of pride as our little Camdyn crossed the finish line in her first official race! With two of her best buds at her side, she pinned on her number, lined up at the starting line and managed to pace herself the entire way without walking a step. From hearing the beginning pistol to the cheering crowd at the end, she LOVED every minute of it and can't wait for the next big race!

First Day of Preschool Take 1.......
Take 2, Take 3, 4, and 5.................................it didn't seem to matter how many shots I took, Lilly simply would not cooperate for her first official day of preschool photos! Thankfully, with big sister at her side, and her new lunch box in hand, she had a fabulous first day of Summer School and is already excited to try it on her own in the fall!

A Very Special Guest
The entire Weer family were thrilled that Great-Granny was able to come to Enterprise for a special visit. From dinner at our house, to Friday playgroup, she was a trooper as we drug her through a day in the life of Camdyn and Lilly! While I wish we had have taken hundreds of photos, I was lucky to snap a few memories in the making.........

Welcome Back Warm Weather!
Despite the changes in toys and technology, I love how some activities transcend the test of time. Does it get any better than running though a sprinkler on the first warm days of spring?!?!? To our girls a bit of sunshine, daring each other to sit on the sprinkler head and the first Popsicle of the season made for just about the perfect weekend!

Let's Go Fly a Kite
While the girls and I were searching for a spring craft, we stumbled upon a simple kite pattern on-line. Encouraged that the only materials needed were a plain sheet of paper and a skewer, we thought we would give it a try.......and are thrilled we did! This simple 2 -minute kite not only puts our $40.00 beach kite to shame, but is also incredibly easy to fly. Since its creation we have spent many a windy afternoons hitting the sky with our latest creation!
