365 Days of a Miracle

Let the celebration begin............

Just a Few More Shots......

Perhaps it was because I was attempting to make up for the recent lack of photos, or maybe it was just that our little birthday girl looked so darn cute. Whatever the reason, I just couldn't stop shooting that camera this weekend! Here are a few more shots from the first birthday....and yes, to you observant viewers, it was also our first day trying out our new hair accessories!

Where Does the Time Go?!?!!

As weeks fly by I not only find myself lacking the time to blog (or eat, exercise,relax.....), but I find our little lady turning into a toddler before our very eyes! As wonderful as it is to see those little wheels turning faster than I could ever imagine, it is all bittersweet as she wants to be her own person more and more each day! Also falling into the bittersweet category are the temper tantrums, food throwing and need to climb EVERYTHING! Challenges aside, it is wonderful to actually feel like we are becoming "real" parents.

Here is our little dare devil on her favorite toy by far......poor Barley can't wait until we can head outside and stop chasing her around the house via bike!

Spring Fever

Looks like Mom isn't the only one wishing it was time to fill the pots on our patio with beautiful flowers!

The Best Way to Celebrate

Beautiful weather and quality time with my family....I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my birthday! With the first day above freezing since about November, Camdyn was super happy to be outside and Mom and Dad were anxious to tackle a few outdoor projects. Although we contemplated a fancy "date night" without our little princess, we decided on a fire down by the river with Heidi, Ian and all the kiddos....Camdyn seemed to think we were all a little crazy bundled up and eating around the fire, but loved the dogs, cows and time with her cousins! Who knows.....maybe the weather will be nice enough every year to make this a new tradition!?!

Inch by Inch

I don't know why, but I have always loved photographs of any child standing on their tiptoes, trying to get something just out of reach. I am hoping to get a better on of little Camdyn soon, but excited to have a start.

A Dog Bed All My Own.........

It has been extremely apparent for months now, that Barley is by far Camdyn's favorite member of the family. Most of our most sought after activities revolve around the dog (throwing Barley the Tennis ball, chasing Barley around the house on our tricycle, opening Barley's eyes while she is sleeping and stuffing misc. objects inside), but it seems that as of late, Camdyn has taken her "anything Barley" obsession to all new levels.

As our first birthday rapidly approaches we have made it all to clear to Mom and Dad that we would like our own Dog Bed. Not only do we love crawling in and cuddling up with Barley, we seem to even be fascinated with the bed minus the dog. In the past week we have been found reading in the bed, playing with blocks in the bed, dragging the bed throughout the house, diving off the couch into the bed and quietly laying with our Pacifier attempting to nap in the bed.......makes me question if the $400 crib purchase was all that necessary!
