We couldn't have been more excited when cousin Dawson came to visit with Uncle Alan and Aunt Claire. From hiking, to laking, to parading, we had four days of fun in the sun......and tried to make the most of each minute with family in town. Thank you California Weers for making the 14+ hour drive........we can't wait to see you again!

Here Comes the Bride
While we are always up for an East Coast trip, double weddings were the driving force behind our recent adventure. "Uncle" Bill was nice enough to include both Weer Girls in on his Big Day, and they couldn't have been more thrilled with the honor of Flower Girls. Aside from a bit of crying, forgetting to through a single flower, and not making it down the aisle, their performance was a resounding success......and the whole family wishes Bill and Rebecca an amazing, happily ever after!

Happy Flag Day!
While I will update with pictures from our entire East Coast Adventure over the weekend, we thought this picture was pretty darn fitting as we celebrate a symbol of American History. Also fitting, was the trip to Urgent Care in the middle of our vacation for a sick and infected Lilly.......however, since her antibiotic injections did provide this stinking cute photo opp, it could have been worse!

Finally......A Fish
After several afternoons of coming home empty handed, we called in
expert fisherman Uncle Ian to help Camdyn catching her first fish.
Three casts later, our bobber had disappeared and our little Fisher girl
was reeling her heart out.......successfully landing a rainbow trout!
Making up for lost time, fish #2 came a few short minutes later,
leaving one happy (and fished out) little girl!

Foxy Ladies
When the Weer Girls caught wind of a local fox family at one of our favorite hiking places, we immediately made it our daily mission to find those fox. After only one day of disappointment, we arrived this afternoon and were treated to views of Momma Fox and all seven of her kits! Although far from "tame" they were very patient with this camera happy mom, helping us make the most of this memorable opportunity to take in Mother Nature.
