Finally......A Fish

After several afternoons of coming home empty handed, we called in expert fisherman Uncle Ian to help Camdyn catching her first fish.   Three casts later, our bobber had disappeared and our little Fisher girl was reeling her heart out.......successfully landing a rainbow trout!   Making up for lost time, fish #2 came a few short minutes later, leaving one happy (and fished out) little girl!

Foxy Ladies

When the Weer Girls caught wind of a local fox family at one of our favorite hiking places, we immediately made it our daily mission to find those fox.  After only one day of disappointment, we arrived this afternoon and were treated to views of Momma Fox and all seven of her kits!  Although far from "tame" they were very patient with this camera happy mom, helping us make the most of this memorable opportunity to take in Mother Nature.

The Amazing Bubble Snake

For the past several weeks, the girls have been helping mom get ready for all of her fun summer program.  From making bead bowls, to homemade gummy worms that flopped, we have been crafting, cooking and experimenting away.  Perhaps the family favorite thus far is the Bubble Snake!  Seen all over the internet, this home made toy took about 2 minutes to make, but provided hours of entertainment.

Going, Going......Gone

While momma was cuddling on the couch with a sick Lilly, Dad and Camdyn took the plunge, removing her training wheels and officially launching a bike rider onto the streets of Enterprise! Cruising around as naturally as Lance Armstrong, Camdyn is loving her new freedom and crazy speeds, while Mom and Dad are losing years off their lives just trying to keep up!

Easter Eggstravaganza

While little Miss Lil was super sick for most of our Easter preparations and celebrations, Camdyn made sure the festivities played on. From decorating to dressing up,and hunting to feasting, she assured the Weers would have an Easter to remember.

Where's Lilly.............

Gone are the days when Lilly would shout out "Here I Are!" before you could properly find her during a game of Hide-and-go-Seek. These days no place is too small, nor closet too dark for Lilly to take refuge. While mom is not a fan of closing ourselves into somewhat scary spaces, even I had to laugh when we found Lilly's latest hideout.
