Our Little Ranch Hand........

If there was any doubt we lived in the country..........

Living Up to her Name

Lillian: A flower which symbolizes purity, innocence and peace

Scared that I may jinx the current family dynamics, with mad chaos immediately ensuing the publication of such a post, I have been reluctant to brag about Lilly's extremely mellow demeanor. Gracefully living up to her name, she has proved quite the contradiction to her active, independent sister. Content sleeping 18-20 hours each day, Jeff has received both the snoozer and snuggler he wished for....and while Mom and Camdyn are continually running around town at full speed, Dad and daughter number #2 can most often be found holding down the fort....or couch....or bed!

Ride Camdyn Ride

From real horses to Radio Flyers, our little dare devil had the chance to take her first pony ride when we went to help our friends John and Amy on their ranch last weekend....unfortunately for Barley, Camdyn didn't quite seem to get her fill of bare back adventures during our outing!

Camdyn, Me and Lilly Makes Three........

Girls for Daddy....four if, like us, Barley makes the list! However, he is loving it up and posing for every photo op possible!

Welcome Baby Lilly!

With both Jeff and I laid off, it has been a lack of Technology, rather than absence of time, that has kept us from officially welcoming Baby Lillian Grace to the Weer Family! Our "little sister" arrived Friday January 15th at 7:17 pm at Wallowa Valley Memorial Hospital. Even smaller than her sister (is that possible?!?!), little Miss Lilly tips the scales at barely 6 pounds and was given the benefit of the doubt in the height department with a length just shy of 19 inches, leaving us scrambling for preemie clothes for our full-term baby! More updates and photos to come...we promise!

Breakfast with Dad

While Mom finishes up work, Dad and Camdyn have been enjoying some new breakfast traditions.....and apparently table manners didn't make the list! However, I guess with the price of groceries these days, I should be thankful not a drop of milk is being wasted at the Weer House!

On Pins, Needles and Rubbermaid Totes?!?!??!

First, thanks to all of you who have expressed concern and sympathy about Baby Weer #2's delayed attempts to introduce his/her self to the world. I now have quite the list of people who will not allow me to call and/or text until I am in labor...leaving me with no one to talk to and a bit of free time to blog! After expecting an early arrival, this Mom and Dad are literally on edge all the time waiting for the imminent pains to begin, and I can't breath the wrong way, without Jeff running to start the car, bag in hand! However, pins and needles doesn't really explain Camdyn's laissez faire attitude about the arrival of our newest addition. Perhaps Jeff and I should take notes, and rather than walking around on pins and needles, we should try Rubbermaid totes filled with Legos....apparently, the baby is not the only one content in small, confined spaces!
