The World Traveler Finally Returns!!!!

Okay, so maybe not world traveler, but Pennsylvania isn't exactly close! We just got back from spending the holidays with Jeff's family and have TONS of stories to tell and pictures to post. Unfortunately, a week out of the office also means a ton of work to do! So, we will be getting caught up over the next several days...until then, thought you'd like to see our little traveler flying the blue skies! She was a perfect angel on all four flights...and unlike her momma, seemed to love every minute of it!

No special occasion.....sometimes just feel the need to grab the camera and take a few pictures of my kiddo when she is looking extra sweet!

One, Two, Three.....TIP OFF!!!!!!

Although our Tarheels began their season with a win over the weekend, last night was the first College Game Night in Carolina and the whole family dressed up and headed to our favorite local pub to cheer on our favorite team! As we geared up for the big event, we reflected on how little our Ms. Camdyn was when they wrapped up their last season in March....it really is true, they grow up faster than you could EVER imagine!

Just Bathing With My Dad!

From attempting to fill our spaghetti pot, to trying to clean my large dutch oven, our ridiculously small kitchen sink has proved to be problematic in number of situations. However, the most pressing issue by far was how rapidly Camdyn was outgrowing her favorite bath tub! Knowing that the move to the "Big Girl" tub was imminent, we decided to try it out over the weekend. Since we were sure she would be scared by the vast pool of water, Dad was kind enough to dress down to his swim trunks and join her for her initial soak. We even busted out the new bath toys for the occasion! As you can tell, a good time was definitely had by all!

Lions and Tigers and Pink Bears....Oh My!!!

Since Grandma not only knows how much the Weer Family loves to take walks, but is also aware of the exceptionally cold temperatures here in Enterprise, she provided Ms. Camdyn with the fluffiest, warmest, and perhaps pinkest infant suit ever made! The thermometer was pushing 23 degrees Saturday morning, so we decided to try our new outfit on for size. Apparently, it served its duty...not only was she all smiles, but she ended our stroll sound asleep, snug as a bug in a rug! 8)

Dad is taking advantage of all the holding his sick little girl is wanting these days, and using the time to explain the finer details of college basketball......less than a week until the first Tar Heel Tip Off!!!

A Lot of Not So Good Firsts

Life has been a little rough for Ms. Camdyn in the past several weeks....thus the lack of blogging. After a week long trip to Portland, where we learned the hard way that hotels and babies don't mix, we were hit with an extremely nasty virus. In four short (despite seemingVERY long) days we have unfortunately reached several not-so-fun milestones:

First Fever over 104 degrees
First Trip to the Hospital
First IV in our little arm
First huge Fear for Mom and Dad

I am happy to report that we are VERY slowly on the mend....if we could just get our little bug to drink something life would be great! Here is a recent picture of Camdyn that helps Mom remember what her busy little girl is all about when she is actually well!
